Who’s behind PUIU MAMEI?
Just two real MAMEIS juggling work, kids, and coffee cups - the way most great things start. PUIU MAMEI was born from our own need for a bag that didn’t scream “diaper” but still handled all the sh!t. We design every piece ourselves, test them on playgrounds and planes, and built this business from our living room with a lot of passion (and not enough sleep). Self-made, mom-made, PUIU-made.
What does “PUIU” mean?
“Puiu” means “little one” in Romanian — it’s a family nickname turned brand name. We built PUIU to celebrate real-life parenthood: the messy, magical, beautifully unfiltered kind.
Who is PUIU MAMEI for?
PUIU is for the ones doing it all — the parents, the multitaskers, the late-night snack-packers, the everyday superheroes who believe practicality can still look really, really good.
Where are you based?
We’re based in New York City — the capital of chaos and creativity. Our bags are designed here and responsibly produced overseas in limited quantities.
What are PUIU MAMEI bags made of?
Two signature fabrics: a soft matte black nylon (wipes clean in seconds) and a medium-wash denim (structured yet relaxed). Both are lined with our iconic Print interior — because finding snacks in your bag should never feel like a blind date.
Can I wear it crossbody, on the stroller, or both?
All of the above. Every PUIU bag includes 3 different straps and metal clips designed to move with you , from shoulder, cross body and to stroller in a snap.
Is the hardware real metal?
Yes - polished silver, custom-cast with our logo. Because MAMEIS deserve a little shine.
What makes the MAMEI Bag special?
The MAMEI Bag is for women who refuse to downgrade their style just because they became MAMEIs. It holds everything - snacks, wipes, lip gloss, chaos - without ever looking like a “diaper bag.” It’s luxury meets real life, built for women doing a million things and still showing up fabulous.

How long will shipping take?
Standard delivery in the US: lands on your doorstep in 3-8 business days (faster than a toddler meltdown).
If you are out side of the US please contact us and we will make it work!
You’ll get a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
What’s your return policy?
You can return your bag within 14 days if it’s unused and in original condition. We get it - sometimes you need to meet her in person first.
To be eligible for a return:
• The bag must be unused
• In original condition
• With original packaging and tags attached
• Free of stains, wear, odors, or damage
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Do you offer exchanges?
We currently offer exchanges only for defective or damaged items.
